He did not present any logic behind the high difference between the pension of ORs and commissioned officers inspite of the fact that many of the persons employed as OR have higher IQ than most of the commissioned officers.

Can any of these selfish 'officers' who always envy the position of civil servants and weap loudly from pay commission to pay commission help the ORs? What about "PBOR" is their not any discrepancy in their case.

One of the main discrepancy is if Subedar retd from an Army after rendering 28 years of service and He award Hony/ Sub Maj by issuing a letter from his retiring unit . Why he is not be given any monetary benefit for this Hony Rank, Whearas Havildar who got the Rank of Hony N/Sub is getting the pension of regular N/sub. Is it a justifiable ? Why only JCOS are left.

Secondly , Now PBOR comes is "X & Y" Groups category old name is "A& B " Groups . Those people already were in "Y" Group category from British Time leave at same place . Even "X" Group people is given "X" Group Pay . Why "Y" Group people left untouch. They should be given protection in terms of pensionery benefits. Is this is justifiable?

Some concrete and justifiable action required on this.

From: One of non defence person who is aware about Army system by interest.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1937088411451927836.post-44425400187297706742011-05-01T13:03:59.326+05:302011-05-01T13:03:59.326+05:30i wanted to know whether same rank same pension sc...i wanted to know whether same rank same pension scheme is started or is still pending for govt approval.
plse inform me regarding my query .
regards
drmukeshacds@gmail.commukeshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02362225899147372618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1937088411451927836.post-8820728786037827812011-04-29T15:37:16.180+05:302011-04-29T15:37:16.180+05:30Dear Veteran Christopher D'Souza and Veteran C...Dear Veteran Christopher D'Souza and Veteran Carl, (Gomes I presume)

It was nice to have a look at the very startling revelations of Rear Adm O'Leary, about the conduct of the 6CPC. However, I feel it is a pity that he has come out with these facts a bit too late. It should have been done at the stage when the anomalies committee sat down to sort out the very few and hardly significant anomalies. In that also they did not do any justice to the Armed forces. That was the time when these should have been brought to the notice of the Chiefs, though it is doubtful that they would have taken a stand to undo the injustices.

I now feel that we have cooked our chips for ever, and any amount of noise now would not make the bureacrats or the ministers or the MPs to move or budge even an inch. As it is I have very little hopes on the Petitions Committee of the Rajya Sabha, which inspite of all the efforts may turn out to be an eye wash and a damp squib. None in this country can save the defence veterans now. Will the God do it?

With Regards

Col LK Anand (Retd).INDIA OFMY DREAMShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08354654681348443147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1937088411451927836.post-71029369666132893492011-04-29T14:07:37.347+05:302011-04-29T14:07:37.347+05:30At first glance, there appears to be one issue in ...At first glance, there appears to be one issue in need of review, and this relates only to Officers, and the issue is the principle of parity in the case of pension is fine. What about the parity in respect of service rendered? A pre AV Singh Phase-I Lt Col or Lt Col(TS) retiree with more than 26 years of service needs to have his pension pegged at the same level as that of a post AV Singh Phase-I Col(TS) retiree with equivalent service.corona8https://www.blogger.com/profile/14443791458911191943noreply@blogger.com
