A Bold stand by the Australian Prime Minister-Julia Gillard

Australian Prime Minister does it again.

Australia says NO – This is the Second Time she the Australian Prime Minister-Julia Gillard has done so!

She sure isn't backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen. A breath of fresh air to see someone lead the country in the real and authentic manner.  Undoubtedly, the whole world needs a leader like her and also may like to learn a few lessons in leadership from her.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia Law were told on Wednesday to get out of       Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT... Take It Or Leave It. Unquote

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since, the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

  1. What a forceful view. MMS needs to become a man enough to learn a lot from this wo(man).

  2. Why are Australians selling their produce abroad without consuming themselves? Such views are antiquated and regressive. I think the fundamentalist philosophy has begun eroding the progressive nature of western countries. Tolerance, acceptance, diversity and accomodation are higher virtues which need to be encouraged. Indians should not succumb to such regressive rhetoric. We have a chance to lead the world if progressive western countries fall prey to jingoism.

  3. Being the more privileged lot would the Muslims in India be ever treated this way? Will the Indian government ever dare to apply Common Civil Code to restrict their number of wives and ever increasing population? Incidentally they enjoy full opportunity to become doctors, nurses, professors, join Army, Navy, Air Force and all the civil service, including some proposed reservations for some special categories.

They are fully trusted to be in RAW and IB. They even enjoy the status of Presidents and Vice Presidents. There is no discrimination what so ever, and in spite of being a Hindu majority country no restrictions on cow slaughter. They enjoy the Haj subsidy and even loudspeakers for Namaz. Wherever they are, they support the jihadis. The Indian Congress President and the Indian government are so kind to them that they feel much happier here than any other country, and none of them would like to leave and adjust in Muslim predominant countries like Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, from where they originally came.

Does any Congress leader have the will to treat other religions including even Hindus in this preferred manner. They even ignore the long pending and deserving demands of Armed Forces, who are free from any religious inclinations and have always extended full security to the country. They blame Modi for Gujarat riots but never raise any questions about the Godhra episode, where a large number of Hindus were burnt alive in the train. Will the power hungry and corrupt Indian leaders ever have courage to take bold and justified steps in any field.

    Ashok.

    Suitably edited.

  4. Gillard did NOT make this speech.

The same speech has been attributed to Kevin Rudd and John Howard over the last 10 years.

It is a chain letter/email that is actual;ly a mishmash of interviews and statements (largely true) made by various public figures in the last 10 years.

Some bored patriot decided to put them all in one letter and force it out of the mouth of our great country's leader.
