Guess what? Apparently, Sonam Kapoor is not the only girl who will romance Shahid Kapoor in Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut Mausam.

The film stars a newcomer Aditi Sharma who also plays Shahid's love interest. The girl whose identity was being kept under wraps, was last seen in Subhash Ghai's Black And White.

A source said, "Aditi plays Shahid's love interest in the first half of the film. She has two songs and quite a few romantic scenes with him. But eventually Shahid leaves her for Sonam. Aditi is currently in Chandigarh shooting for the film."

Apparently, the role she plays is a little bitchy. The source continued, "The makers of the film wanted a girl with a vamp-like face. Pankaj Kapoor was very keen on casting Monikangana Dutta but she has signed a contract with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. So it didn't work out."

The producer Sheetal Talwar didn't deny that there is another girl besides Sonam but emphasised, "Aditi is playing a role in the film but it's not a parallel lead or second lead."
